Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Kennebunkport crews are already moving. Our Kennebunkport-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Kennebunkport, ME kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Kennebunkport roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our senior technicians are IICRC-certified and have worked everything from a clean supply-line break to a full sewage backup, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Kennebunkport isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We're fully insured and licensed to work anywhere in Kennebunkport, ME, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Kennebunkport, ME so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Talk to a Kennebunkport property manager who's lived through an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you exactly why a crew that arrives already equipped matters — every extra minute is more water in the framing. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Kennebunkport call at a time.

We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Kennebunkport property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For Kennebunkport homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
For commercial Kennebunkport accounts, we assign a project lead, run crews after normal hours to reduce downtime, and bring equipment sized to the actual footprint — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination — our Kennebunkport crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
On top of standard drying, our Kennebunkport crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
